I was doing some checking out last week when I discovered the word
“trivializing.”
It will get tossed when it comes to in prominent news, and frequently is a thing you
learn to somewhat dismiss, simply because of how often people lament
other people “trivializing” some XYZ “really fuss”
in their eyes
, that appears trite or
overblown to other people.
However…
Examine the classic discussion between two opposites. Say someone that is actually
pro-renewable power because he really wants to save yourself the earth, and some one
otherwise who’s pro-fossil fuels because he does not want are forced to
shell out a premium price for new, less efficient technologies whenever less
choices are available.
Initial guy accuses the second man of eliminating the planet. The
2nd man feels like one guy is trivializing his must not
burn a gap within his budget, and turns out to be upset, and informs him down. The
very first guy then feels as though the second man is actually trivializing his aspire to
save the earth as an ignoble reason, and fiercely retorts.
This is exactly a case of crossed wires communication-wise regarding the type we
mentioned in ”
Dale Carnegie’s Many Life-Changing Bit Of
Guidance
“, but it goes broader than this, because trivializing
is available in a lot of shapes and kinds, and it’s challenging detect and harder to
fight in the majority of ones.
